Quarter-transition-time potential
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009766
The potential measured at one-quarter of the transition time in chronopotentiometry. The transition time is the period during which the concentration of the electroactive species at the electrode surface drops to zero. This potential is characteristic of the redox couple and can be used for qualitative identification.
