Charge transfer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001908
The movement of electronic charge from one molecular entity or region to another within a polymeric system. This can occur between different parts of a single molecule, between adjacent molecules, or between a polymer and an external species. It is a fundamental process in many polymer-based electronic and optoelectronic applications.
