Cis-trans isomers
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002092
Stereoisomers that differ in the spatial arrangement of atoms or groups around a rigid structural element, such as a double bond or a ring, but do not differ in connectivity. These isomers are a type of diastereomer and exhibit distinct physical and chemical properties. They are also known as geometric isomers.
