Conditional potential
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002388
The observed electrode potential for a half-reaction under specific experimental conditions, such as a particular pH, ionic strength, or presence of complexing agents. This potential differs from the standard electrode potential because it accounts for the actual activities of species in a given solution rather than ideal conditions. It is measured in volts (V).
