Conjugation labelling
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002445
A method of introducing a radioactive label into a molecule by forming a covalent bond between the molecule and a pre-labelled reagent. This technique is used when direct labelling of the target molecule is difficult or undesirable. The pre-labelled reagent, such as an active ester, reacts with a specific functional group on the molecule.
