DP, DQ, and DR molecules
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003428
Specific types of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules found on the surface of antigen-presenting cells, such as B lymphocytes and macrophages. These molecules are heterodimers composed of alpha and beta chains, encoded by genes within the MHC region. They bind and present processed foreign antigens to T helper cells, initiating an immune response.
