Fluorimeter

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004528

An instrument used to measure the intensity of fluorescence emitted by a sample after it has been excited by light of a specific wavelength. It typically consists of a light source, an excitation monochromator, a sample holder, an emission monochromator, and a detector. Fluorimeters are widely used in analytical chemistry for quantitative analysis of fluorescent compounds.
