Fused in sarcoma transcription factor

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004730

A protein involved in gene regulation, RNA processing, and DNA repair within cells. This factor, often abbreviated as FUS, binds to specific nucleic acid sequences to influence gene expression. Mutations or abnormal aggregation of FUS are associated with certain neurodegenerative diseases, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
