Galvani potential difference
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004742
The difference in electric potential between two points in different phases, specifically the inner electric potential difference between two bulk phases. This potential difference cannot be measured directly because it includes contributions from surface potentials that are not experimentally accessible. It is a key concept in electrochemistry for understanding interfacial phenomena.
