Mass-transfer-controlled electrolyte rate constant

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007012

A kinetic parameter describing the rate of an electrochemical reaction that is limited by the transport of reactants or products to or from the electrode surface. This constant reflects the efficiency of mass transfer processes within the electrolyte. It is influenced by factors such as diffusion coefficients, convection, and electrode geometry.
