Nitramines
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007949
Organic compounds containing a nitro group (-NO2) directly attached to a nitrogen atom of an amine functional group (R2N-NO2). These compounds are often highly energetic and are used as explosives or propellants. The presence of both the amine and nitro functionalities contributes to their reactivity and stability characteristics.
