Resonance fluorescence technique
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010248
A spectroscopic method where a species absorbs radiation at a specific wavelength and then re-emits light at the same wavelength. This process involves excitation to a higher electronic state followed by immediate radiative decay back to the initial state. It is a highly sensitive method for detecting and quantifying trace amounts of atoms or molecules.
