  "definition": "A measure of a liquid film's ability to resist deformation, defined as twice the derivative of the surface tension with respect to the natural logarithm of the film's area at constant pressure, temperature, and chemical potentials of the bulk components. This property, also known as the Marangoni elasticity, describes the restoring force that arises from surface tension gradients when a film is stretched or compressed. The Gibbs film elasticity is expressed in units of force per unit length, the same as surface tension (N/m).",
