Stern-Volmer kinetic relationships
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011400
Equations that describe the quenching of fluorescence or phosphorescence by a quencher molecule. These relationships relate the ratio of the luminescence intensity in the absence and presence of a quencher to the quencher concentration. The Stern-Volmer constant provides a measure of the efficiency of the quenching process.
