Wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012655
A method of X-ray fluorescence analysis that separates emitted characteristic X-rays by their wavelength using a diffracting crystal and then detects them individually. This technique provides high spectral resolution, allowing for the precise identification and quantification of elements in a sample. It is particularly effective for resolving overlapping spectral lines from different elements.
