Acidity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000139
The extent to which a substance exhibits acidic properties, such as the ability to donate a proton or accept an electron pair. It is a measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution, typically expressed by the pH scale, where lower pH values indicate higher acidity.
