CD23
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001763
A low-affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin E (IgE), expressed on the surface of B lymphocytes, monocytes, and other immune cells. This molecule is involved in regulating IgE production and B cell activation. Soluble forms of CD23 can be released and act as mediators in allergic responses.
