Chronic lymphocytic leukemia

A type of cancer characterized by the slow, progressive accumulation of abnormal, mature B lymphocytes in the blood, bone marrow, and lymphoid tissues. These cancerous cells are typically CD5+ B lymphocytes and are functionally impaired. It is one of the most common types of leukemia in adults.
